MISSION STATEMENT:

 

 

              The District provides leadership, information, education and technical assistance to conserve, improve

     and sustain our natural resources through partnerships, with individuals, businesses,

organizations and government.

Services We Provide:

 

•Technical assistance and design of erosion control measures.

•Recommendations on materials and methods used to enhance conservation.

•Educational services to promote water quality protection in lake and stream watersheds.

•Outreach to groups and individuals on how they can become a conservation partner.

•Medium intensity soil survey.

•The District provides annual sales of trees, shrubs, trout, grass seed at reasonable cost.

•Grant writing & grant administration.

•Informational materials and , booklets pertaining to conservation & specific conservation practices.

•  The District works closely with environmental agencies and groups on water quality issues, non-point            source training, nutrient management and soil erosion issues.
